I do not know how so many of you have time to blog everyday. It has taken me a while to get used to all of this blog stuff.
But I just have to say what a beautiful day inauguration was. To honor Hawaii's 1st isle born president was just so amazing to the people on the islands here. I think they may have been more excited that he was from Hawaii than the first african american president.
Here on Maui they were having parties here and there but I wanted to stay at home with my big screen and not miss one single word. And that I did.
Since we are 5 hours behind the east coast it all took place at 7:00am Hawaii time. Sitting in my pajamas and coffee in hand I cried like a baby as the whole thing went down.
When Kenny got to work at 7am they had it on in the offices and he said everyone was gathered around. Poor guy had to listen to the rest on the radio. And it sucks here because we only get 2 stations on am to listen to.
I, on the other hand, was glued to the tv ALL day. When I say ALL day I mean it. I only took out a hour to shower and clean the kitchen.
